Humboldt does the sustainability reporting that small and mid-sized companies are asked for by their customers, banks and regulators, starting with manufacturers. AI drafts from your own documents; a senior ESG expert checks every answer and signs the deliverable.
We are named after Alexander von Humboldt, who saw the natural world as one connected system. We take the same view of your sustainability data: gather it once, and use it to answer everything the market asks of you.
We are early. We are taking on a small group of founding customers now, and we build Humboldt in Europe, with your data kept in Europe.

Peter van der Reijden Founder + ESG expert Peter leads the company and works across the product build. He founded We Are Robin, helping sustainability leaders and teams scale their efforts, and is pursuing a PhD on ethics in the boardroom. He reviews and signs deliverables, and keeps Humboldt honest: real deadlines met, every answer traceable to a source.

Renske Prins Founder Renske has spent years building sustainability products and is pursuing a PhD on using AI for ESG data. At Humboldt she builds the grounded production line that drafts sustainability and compliance work for expert review, with every figure traced back to its source.

Martijn Janssen Founder Martijn leads go-to-market and scaling. He built the EU revenue operation of a fast-scaling US software company from the ground up, growing EU annual recurring revenue from zero to over 10 million dollars in three years. At Humboldt he turns that playbook into how we reach and grow with our customers.

Wouter Staal ESG expert Wouter is one of ten experts in the Netherlands certified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). He founded Yoghurt Barn and led its shift to plant-based yoghurt to cut the emissions he had calculated himself. At Humboldt he reviews and signs deliverables across EcoVadis, CDP and EU sustainability reporting.
